Some Advice from Your Neighborhood Dispensary
April 12, 2024Are you thinking about getting into cannabis but aren’t sure where to start? Do you know you want to give it a try but don’t know what all that entails? We’re here to help! At Fire & Oak, we’ve helped plenty of folks just like you to start their cannabis journey. Here, you can find everything you might need cannabis-wise, whether you’re entering for the first time or you’re an old pro. These are some things you’re going to want to keep in mind when you stop by.
Know Your Limits
If you’re like so many, you walk into our dispensary, look at what we’ve got, and think: “Wow, this all looks so great! I’m going to buy it all right now!” We’d love to be able to help you, but that’ll have to happen over time. See, there are laws regarding how much you can buy in a single transaction.
So, each transaction is limited to one ounce or 28.35 grams of cannabis. That has different equivalencies across cannabis types. It can mean 1000 mg of ingestible (edible) cannabis-infused products, it can mean 4 grams of oils/vaporized formulations, and so forth.
If you have any questions about the limits, our staff will be more than happy to help you.
What to Prepare
No matter your age, if you’re like so many of us, when you go to a bar, you still make sure to have ID with your picture on it, right? The same goes for our dispensary. Before you leave for Fire & Oak, be sure to bring a valid government ID that has your picture and date of birth.
Of course, most folks use their driver’s license. But, your passport is valid too, as are some other types of government-issued ID. Show it to our greeter and you’ll be good to go.
A Unique Neighborhood Dispensary Near Mount Holly
In this blog, we’ve described our dispensary as being “near Mount Holly.” We’re actually at the corner of High St and Washington/Mill St. If you’re looking for our dispensary, it’s right across the street from the Robin’s Nest Restaurant and Mill Race Village.
There’s plenty of parking here, too. You can find free lots at the corner of High Street and Washington as well as in the municipal lot behind our dispensary. If they’re packed, you can still park nearby – just leave your car in that street parking on High St. and Washington.
Stop By Today and Make a Day (or Night) Of It
As you can see, we’re in the center of Mount Holly. We’re always looking to help out our fellow businesses, so we’re offering a discount to those of you kind enough to include us in your Mount Holly shopping trip.
If you’ve spent $20 or more at any Mount Holly business, bring us proof of purchase (on the same day) and we’ll give you a 10% discount on your entire order. We feel it’s one more way to support this great community.
